§ 7-55. Incineration prohibited.

In addition to the current zoning laws, incineration of any type (waste to energy) that burns waste, garbage, rubbish, refuse, trash or debris is not allowed on any public or private property within the Town of New Milford, except that the incineration of wood or coal in residential stoves or fireplaces for the primary purpose of providing a source of residential heat shall be permitted.
