§ 30-13. Minimum total window area.

Every habitable room shall have at least one window or skylight facing directly to the outdoors. The minimum aggregate glass area of windows for habitable rooms shall be not less than 20 inches by 24 inches or 5.7 square feet. Windows for habitable rooms shall not be more than 44 inches from the floor.
