§ 5-11. Purpose.

The purpose of this article is to promote the public safety and welfare pursuant to the authority vested in the Town of New Milford by Section 7-148 of the Connecticut General Statutes by providing guidelines and specifications for property identification, which will give the New Milford Police, Fire Department and Ambulance and other emergency service personnel quick and easy determination of residential and commercial locations in the Town of New Milford.
