§ 7-57. Exceptions.

(a)
The provisions of §§ 7-55 and 7-56 of this Article shall not apply to the following incinerators registered with or permitted by the Department of Environmental Protection:

(1)
The New Milford Hospital incinerator located at 21 Elm Street, New Milford, Connecticut; and

(2)
The Balmoral Pet Cemetery incinerators located at Route 7, Gaylordsville, New Milford, Connecticut.

(b)
In addition, §§ 7-55 and 7-56 of this Article shall not be deemed to prohibit the repair, maintenance, improvement or replacement of such incinerators.
