§ 7-3. Burning restrictions.

No person shall engage in or cause others to engage in the bulk burning of waste or putrescible material anywhere within the town; provided, however, that the prohibition contained in this section shall not apply to:

(1)
The burning or burying, in a sanitary manner, by persons on their own property of wastes generated by themselves on such property.

(2)
The burning of leaves, brush or land-clearing refuse by homeowners or on an on-the-job site presently under the jurisdiction of the Fire Warden.

(3)
The storing or spreading of animal excrement used as a fertilizer for agricultural purposes within the town.
